Success at the Inner West Community Pitch Night

Westgate Concert Band participated in Seddon Bendigo Bank’s Inner West Community Pitch night, successfully raising funds for our end of year concert. It was an amazing evening with an atmosphere of genuine community spirit and goodwill. We would like to thank Inner West Community Enterprises, Tim Watts MP, and all the local businesses who generously donated to the band: The Yarraville Club, Trade Creative, Hodges Yarraville, VAULT Yarraville, Collins & Co, Sun Theatre, Western Health Collective, Minuteman Press Footscray, Terrain Tamer 4WD and Podatpid. With these funds we shall be able to purchase a concert band arrangement of Holst’s ‘The Planets’ by Merlin Patterson.
